Member of the year 2024

Stephanie Hodges joined SWC in 2017. She has had the previous SWC board positions of Social Media chair and Secretary.  Although she is not currently on the SWC board, she is a huge help to Josie with Community Outreach.  She has chaired the Signs committee for Art in the Square for several years.  She serves on the SWC Foundation Board as VP of Scholarship and has serves on the Funding Committee.  Here are some of the comments from Stephanie’s Club Member of the Year nominations:

  • Stephanie does a great deal to make the Community Outreach events successful! She also makes a big contribution to Art in the Square as she has taken on the responsibility for all the signs!
  • Stephanie is a treasure. In my experience, she always jumps in to help and her positive attitude is infectious.
  • Stephanie has a heart for service and philanthropy. While she will keep you on your toes with her humor and wit, she is dedicated to the community of Southlake. I have worked with her on the Outreach committee, at the Senior Bingo, and in the scholarship committee. Stephanie gives of herself to Southlake, and this community is better because of her efforts.

Katherine Fisher joined SWC in 2016. She currently serves on the SWC board as Parliamentarian.  She served as President last year and has been on the SWC board for the past five years.  Katherine has been very involved in Art in the Square as chair of Kid’s Korner for the past three years.  Katherine also serves on the SWC Foundation Funding Committee.  Katherine has been very involved with Carroll ISD PTOs where she held various board positions including President of the CHS PTO.  Here are some of the comments from Katherine’s Club Member of the Year nominations:

  • Katherine did a great job as President and runs Kids Corner at Art in the Square.  She is a hard worker and always willing to do what it takes with a smile on her face.
  • Katherine is a hard worker that has been on SWC board for last five years. She has been on the AITS board for numerous years heading up Kid’s Korner.  Former president. Always pitches in where needed.
  • Katherine has been very involved in SWC and Art in the Square.  She has used her leadership and other talents to make SWC better!

Anne Vanderbush joined SWC in 2020.  She has served on the SWC board for past three years as Secretary, VP of Programs and VP of Membership.  Anne will continue her roll on the board next year as President.  Anne is very involved with Art in the Square and has chaired the Volunteer committee for the past 3 years.  Anne also serves on the SWC Foundation Funding Committee.  Anne is also very active in the community.  She served as CHS PTO President and several other PTO board positions.  Here are some of the comments from Anne’s Club Member of the Year nominations:

  • Anne has served SWC tirelessly in several capacities – Membership Chair, Programs Chair, and Volunteer coordinator for AIS multiple years – a very big job!  She’s a very positive, always smiling, SWC representative, and we’re so glad to have her!
  • Anne consistently gives her time and talents to SWC by serving as past programs chair and current membership chair.  She is also responsible for handling all the volunteers that are needed at Art in the Square.  She is humble and helpful but mostly she is deserving of this recognition.
  • Anne is such a kind and helpful member, always giving her all to whatever committee she’s working on. She is inclusive and fair and one of the hardest workers I know.
