| Programs |
The Programs Committee is responsible for planning the general meetings. She will also schedule the speakers and program topics to be covered at every general meeting. She coordinates the refreshments and is responsible for set up and take down of each SWC meeting. |
| Social |
The Social Committee is in charge of making arrangements for all social activities, including special interest activities or trips. There are many social activities throughout the year for members to choose to attend. |
| School Supplies |
The School Supply Committee is in charge of making arrangements for the Southlake Women’s Club annual School Supply Sale, which benefits the Carroll Independent School District. This is a very important event which the teachers and parents of CISD have come to rely on. The Committee Chair also coordinates the distribution of proceeds from the School Supply Sale to the participating schools in the district. |
| Art in the Square |
The Art in the Square Committee is in charge of the Annual Spring Fundraiser for the Southlake Women’s Club. This is by far the largest fundraising event the club has every year. She will serve on the SLWC Foundation and will be involved in of all aspects of this event from beginning to end.The Art in the Square Committee is in charge of the Annual Spring Fundraiser for the Southlake Women’s Club. |
| Community Outreach |
The Community Outreach Committee is in charge of Community Service projects for Southlake Women’s Club. She organizes any community outreach project we do such as Coats at Christmas, PJ’s for Grace, etc. She will coordinate members for the street clean up which takes place several times throughout the year. |
| Sunshine |
The Sunshine Committee is in charge of arranging all meals, plants, or other appropriate expressions for a member or her immediate family for major life events and is in charge of recognizing all members’ birthdays. |
| Club Support |
The Club Support Committee is in charge of all internal fundraising activities of the Southlake Women’s Club. She may solicit in-kind donations valued under $100 from area merchants to be used for drawings or other means of fundraising at general meetings or other SWC events. |
| Telephone |
The Telephone Committee is in charge of reminding all members of regular board meetings; SWC community functions and any information from the Board. She retrieves messages from the SWC general v-mail and distributes them to the right people. |
| Membership |
The Membership Committee is in charge of maintaining the membership list and yearbook and of keeping roll for monthly meetings. She also collects club dues and is responsible for club nametags. She works with her committee to organize new member gatherings, and places new members on committees that have openings. |
| Website |
The Website Committee is in charge of administrating the website updates in a timely manner and coordinating with the webmaster for changes to the website. She administers the information on the website to keep it current with what is going on during the year. |
| Publicity |
The Publicity Committee shall strive to promote goodwill for the Southlake Women’s Club in the community by encouraging an understanding of the club’s activities and purpose in Southlake. She handles all news and press information that is generated about SWC and Art in the Square. |
| Newsletter |
The Newsletter Committee is in charge of publishing the monthly newsletter containing information about the Club’s activities. She is responsible for getting the newsletter mailed after each board meeting via email and the US Postal Service. |
